Cody is a Black & White Tuxedo who was born approximately 11/1/2001.  This is Cody's story:  When I was very small, I was separated from my mother cat.  A very nice woman bottle raised me until I was strong enough and another nice woman adopted me and I have been with her ever since.  I am a beautiful, sweet, meowy cat, and very easy to love. I am healthy at ~16 lbs and do not and never have sprayed.

I love to be held and I love to sit on your lap while you read, watch TV, or just relax and cuddle.  I pet humans on their face with my front paws.  I like it when you gently rub my front paws and whisper to me. I also come (usually:) when you pleasantly call my name, otherwise, that may mean that I am having sweet dreams somewhere in a comfortable place.  I can sleep in many spots, but my favorite is on a chair cushion or the corner of a bed somewhere on a towel or soft cloth for when I shed.  I meow when I want food, I meow when I want fresh water (every day), and I meow when I want to be held and petted (often).  I even sit up on my hind legs and tap you so you know that it is time to pick me up again. I like to be kissed on the head and held just like a baby.

I promise to be a good boy. If you keep my litter box clean each day, I will not have an accident.  And if you keep my claws trimmed, I will not scratch anything. I  do not like loud sudden noises like garbage bags being opened.  That makes me jump.  When there are loud fireworks, and thunder storms outside, I run for cover and hide under the bed or somewhere safe and sound, and then I come out when the noise passes. If you walk behind me, or make loud noise when I am eating, I may stop eating until I check to see if everything is okay, then I will come back to finish my dinner.

I will make a wonderful companion and pet to someone who loves and understands that I am a gentle and special cat, who loves to be with a warm and gentle nice person.
