Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible.
Carter is a big, loving boy who has no idea that he is a dog. He would prefer to spread himself across your lap rather than sit on the floor. We think he is a black lab mix and is full grown at 85 lbs. His nickname is Carterpillar! Carter is very loyal to his family and will let the family know when he senses something he thinks is threatening yet he is wonderful with children. He never hesitates to give big, slobbery kisses to willing kids. Carter loves his crate and has no problem being in it at any time. He is house trained also. He is very calm, yet loves to play. He lives with other dogs and is a great playmate. Carter does have some enviromental allergies and is on special food but it is sold over the counter with no prescription. Carter also loves to go on walks! He is up to date on his shots, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $125.00.
