Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible.
Rollo was pulled form a kill-only shelter with his brother Ringo. He is a gorgeous boy with one blue eye and one brown eye. He is a very sweet and loving dog. He was laying in the back of the kennel shaking when we picked him up. He could have been mistaken for a fear bitter...Instead he was a loving little boy in a lot of pain. He is scheduled for his surgery on the 18th of July and we are expecting a full recovery and full use of his leg. He is up to date on his shots. We are working on potty training and crate training. He goes out a doggie door to potty. Rollo will also be neutered and microchipped before he is adopted. He still has to have some therapy on a daily basis on his leg. **Update 7/19/06 Rollo had his surgery yesterday and it went well. He will have full use of his leg. YEAH!!!!****** Rollo has been hit by a car and his owner turned into a kill-shelter instead of taking him to the vet. He needs to have his femur bone cut and a new socket made for it. The surgery is going to cost $800.00 Rollo will be able to use his leg normally after the surgery. Any size donation would be greatly appreciated!!!
