Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible. GREAT GIRL - CUDDLE BUG!!
Chloe was born 1/27/2011. She is a very affectionate dog. Chloe believes she is a lap dog (we are working on that) and initially was only comfortable sleeping in the bed with her foster parents. Chloe was found in April 2012 and was underweight, covered in fleas, appeared to have been recently nursing and worst of all she was Heartworm Positive. She was picked up by her current foster mommy on her way to work after seeking Chloe almost being hit by 3 different cars. Since her rescue Chloe has been completed vetted (spayed, vaccinated, treated for parasite, fleas and most of all Heartworm Treatment). She is most definitely healthy and ready for her "Forever Home"! Chloe has been around small and older children (3,6,14) and does fine with them as long as she is not approached while sleeping. She would be much better with older children. She is potty trained when she is taken outside every few hours but prefers to potty while going on her walks. Chloe enjoys chewing bones/rawhides and playing with toys in her free time. She will throw and fetch her toys herself if everyone is busy taking care of their people duties. Chloe is definitely a "Cuddle Bug" and she "talks" to you when you get home or when she is excited. More about ChloeGood with Dogs, Good with Kids
