I am Emily, and my new foster mom says I'm a very sweet girl. I try to be polite. I walk on a leash, I come when mom calls, and I don't try to dig out of the fence. I go outside to potty, and even though I didn't like it at first, I've come to think of my crate as a nice place to lounge. I really like people and other dogs, so please don't leave me alone for a long time. If you do, I might bark or "talk" to get your attention if I get very lonesome.

I had some pretty rough times while homeless and then in the shelter, but I'm feeling pretty good now and getting less shy all of the time, though big guys like my foster dad still scare me a little. I'm definitely all grown up and won't get taller, but I think I'd look better if I put on 5 or 6 more pounds - don't you? I love warm blankets, Vienna Sausages, lying in the sun, nad being petted.
