Hi! My name is Owl Face or at least that is what my foster mother has been calling me, because my family didn't let them know who I was when they abandoned me at that bad place. I was snug in my home when they packed me up in my travel box and took me to a noisy place I think they call it a shelter but I didn't feel very sheltered there. I heard my mistress saying that I was a good cat and that her grandmother came to live with them and was allergic to me. I remember when that lady came. My mistress told them how they had shaved me down to nothing I didn't like that anymore then I liked it when I was made to go to sleep and they cut my toes off (declawed all four feet). A nice lady kept looking at me but another female took me and put me in a small metal box with no windows except bars in the front door. There was news paper and a small litter box and food with water but it was little more than the size of my travel box. There were so many other cats there and they were all meowing for attention and wanting out that I got so scared. I curled up in a ball in the corner and tried to hide behind the litter box. It was so loud there and people would come and go and more cats kept coming but only one left. I was so scared I thought I was going to die of fright when that nice lady who I had seen when I came in opened my bars and gently picked me up. She was scratching between my ears and making soft sounds to me. She said she was going to find me a good home with people who would never bring me to a place like this again. I felt comfortable in her arms. She placed me in a travel box and took me to another place with another kitty named Princess and the person in a white coat took gave me a shot and said I tested negative for felv/fiv and that I was a beautiful three year old girl. He said I looked like an owl so the nice lady said that she would call me owl face and so that is how I came to live with my new foster mother and got a new name and am ready to start a new life with a family who would never abandon me to that dark scary place again. Will you be my new family? My fur will grow back out it is about halfway there now but I will have a long beautiful coat when It finishes.
