This young lady was at the Galveston County Animal Control, turned in by some citizen who let their kids experience the birth of life and then after only two days of listening to the kittens she decided she had had enough of them and turned them and mama into the shelter. As an OTI (Owner Turn In) this is almost a death warrant. No one wants to adopt a mama with kittens and the shelter can't adopt out the kittens at only two days old. With little knowledge as to why her family didn't want her anymore and the cold small cage she was in how could she understand her situation. I, a foster for PAWS, went into the kennels as a volunteer and saw this sweet girl, who had been there for a few days and was scheduled to be put down with her kittens for that very morning, I couln't let her go. I took her home and arranged for her to receive medical care and a helthy environment to raise her kittens and then arrange for her and her babies to be spayed and neutered to prevent this type of thing form happening again. Already Spayed, Felv/Fiv negative, Rabies and shots this girl is ready to go to your home. Will you give her a new life and family?
