Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible. 

Sometimes when we respond to your emails, it goes to your spam or junk folder.  Please check these folders when expecting a response from Paws.  We ALWAYS respond to each email and inquiry we receive on a daily basis.

Hobie Cat was brought into a vet's office to be euthanized. He was not sick or hurt physically but had been tormented by a 3 yr. old and freaked out. After he was there in the back he settled down and the vet asked them if they would consider placing him with Paws. She agreed and even gave a donation to have him tested, and he was negative. Our vet,donated a free neuter and shots and I brought him home and will work with him. He really wants love and will hiss and growl till he sees it's me and will cuddle up. This is a perfect example why we do not adopt fragile kittens and puppies to families with children under 6 yrs.
