Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible.

Pepper was originally rescued with 4 siblings when barely 5 weeks old, 5 yrs. ago. I was with a different rescue that has since disbanded and I joined Paws in May'99. They had been relinquished to the pound and too young to keep and luckily we came by and saw them before they were put down. I was not set up for such young ones so my Partner Diane Van Horne decided to foster because she didn't have to work outside her home.We lost Diane to Kidney/heart failure in April '01.We do miss her very much but will continue this cause she so much believed in.Beansi as we knew him was adopted into a loving home when 12 weeks old and was a happy kitty till a month ago, his owner suffered a stroke and we took Beansi back. We re-tested for Leukemia/ Fiv and he was negative. He is current on his vaccinations. Just needs a new loving home to see him through hislifetime. Very loving even to strangers. Other cats should not be a problem if friendly. Not raised with dogs or small children.*~*~*~UPDATE~*~*~* I have been adopted 1/25/04
