Brown Swirled Tabby female, hard to tell her age because of her jaw injury. Our vet thinks her to be a young adult who has endured a lot of pain for a while, because this is an old injury.Found by a woman who has named her Roller, because she has to roll her food around to eat.Has lost both Canines on her right side of her jaw.The jaw was pushed out of alignment and healed itself. Gosh she is such a sweet kitty in spite of this injury.I cannot believe no one saw this before now.Her surgery is scheduled for this Friday 5/09/03.She deserves a chance at having a quality life and a lifetime loving home. We're taking before and after photos today 5/07/03 ** UPDATE*Roller has had her first surgery, there was so much damage uncovered when Dr.D. did the surgery. Her upper jaw on right side had been crushed and her tongue had almost been severed, at one point. That's a lot of pain this little gal has endured. All we can do at this point is pray all mends well enough she can eat and groom herself.Let's all say a prayer for Roller. We have her poster and donation jar at Petsmart{Bay Brook Mall} every Sunday if you care to help us help her and check up on her.*Special Thanks to Dr. Denney and the staff at Veterinary Hospital of Alvin, especially Judy for taking Roller home over the week-ends.I'll keep you updated.*UPDATE 5/20/03 Dr. D says she's progressing nicely. I went to see her today, the moment she saw me her motor started. Her spaying is scheduled for end of this week.*++UPDATE Her spaying is complete with no complications. Her lower jaw has deviated to the left, now we have another trip to surgery to stabilize the lower jaw, this Tues. 5/27 03 .Let's keep our fingers crossed.**UPDATE** Roller came through with flying colors, I will be taking her home this Fri.5/30/03 Now we wait for time to heal and Dr Denney to release her for adoption, probably mid July.***UPDATE 10/02/03 *** Roller has made a complete recovery and is now ready for adoption. Her tongue will always stick out some and a little drooling , but other than that she is a Great Cat. Will only go to a SPECIAL FOREVER HOME.
